The queuing of downloads via link, eg i could input a list of X amount of links to downloads, and the manager would download them one after another. Don't even know if something like this exists :P
Nothing really. Bitorrent looks after my media consumption so I use that. I find myself downloading less and less from websites directly. I do use Wget the odd time.
Torrents were keeping my going for a long time until I found everything that I wanted through torrents was available from Rapidshare a lot faster. But, Everything gets broken into 100mg chunks, Hence the search for a program I can input the links into and it'll get them one after another. saves copy and pasting every time a piece gets done.

Isn't that what the old "Download Manager" did? Used to use it years ago.

If you use Firefox : DownThemAll extension might have what you're looking for.
"It lets you download all the links or images contained in a webpage and much more"
Although big file hosting sites sometimes restrict the use of download managers / accelerators.
